We have two great locations on Lake Ullswater just outside Pooley Bridge in Cumbria.

We are based on the Howtown Road, 1.4 miles outside Pooley Bridge, about 4 minutes by car.
DIRECTIONS
From Junction 40 of the M6 motorway, take the A66 signposted ‘Keswick’.
After one mile, turn left at the roundabout onto the A592 for Ullswater and Pooley Bridge.
Follow this road until you reach a junction facing the lake. Turn left at this junction, keeping the lake on your right hand side.
Continue along this road, crossing over the river into Pooley Bridge village. Go through the village, turning right at the mini roundabout.
At the crossroads, turn right towards Howtown. Follow the road for about 1 mile. You'll see the Waterside House Campsite on your right hand side.
Just before the entrance you'll see a car park on your left - park here. Leave the car park on foot, turn left and you'll see the entrance to the campsite immediately on your right.
Enter the campsite and when you see the lake in front of you turn right. The Ullswater Wake and Surf HQ will be on your left hand side just before the play area.

However, be aware that a few businesses share this postcode, so towards the end of your journey you will need to ignore your Sat Nav and continue along the road towards Howtown, keeping an eye out for the Waterside House Campsite entrance sign on the right. (Look out for parking on the left - more info below).

Each booking with us includes parking for ONE CAR.
Any additional cars must pay for parking at the campsite office on arrival.

We are based just outside Pooley Bridge.
It takes about 3 minutes by car or if you want to walk it's just under a mile and about 20 minutes on foot along the lakeside footpath (make sure the lake is on your right!)
