Our Wakesurf boats are based at our Waterside House location.
Prices are per session and include equipment and wetsuit if required.
If you are a beginner, please allow minimum 30 minutes each for tuition. We can take up to 6 people on the boat for each session so that can be a mix of riders and spectators where space allows. Riders should allow max 20 mins each in the water.

PLEASE NOTE: You must be able to swim to paddleboard
'Board Hire' rates are per person/board hire. Rates include all equipment for one person (wetsuit / board / leash / paddle / buoyancy aid).
'Family Boards' are for a maximum of 2 adults+2 kids or 3 adults per board.
Anyone under 12 years old must share a board with an over 18 and anyone 12 and over but under 18 must be accompanied on the water by an adult at all times.

Our Wakesurf boats used for kneeboarding are based at our Waterside House location.
Kneeboarding is perfect for children (age 7 and over) and beginners and offers the chance to get used to being on the water before trying wakesurfing.
All children MUST be accompanied by an adult.

Our Boats are based at our Waterside House location.
Boat charters are for groups (max 6 people) who want flexibility with time and may want to both wakeboard and/or wakesurf, or for groups who want a leisurely, relaxing trip around Lake Ullswater. We also have special Lunch on the Lake picnic packages. Ask for more info.

Axe Throwing is for ages 10+. Archery is for ages 8+. Minimum group size is 4 people.

Bouyancy aids MUST be worn at all times.
Children aged 12 and under must share a double Kayak with an adult over the age of 18 at all times.
Children must be 13 and over to use a Kayak on their own - however they must be supervised by someone 18 or over at all times.
We recommend 1 adult per child in the case of kayak hire as this means in the event of a capsize, each adult can look after 1 child.
The sit-on kayaks come in singles (145kg max.capacity) and tandems (200kg max. capacity) are licensed for one or two passengers respectively.
We recommend that dogs do not go on kayaks.
CANOE HIRE
Min 1 Adult on board at all times to supervise.

We recommend there should be (minimum) 2 people able to use a paddle per canoe.

WATERSIDE HOUSE CAMPSITE ONLY
All boats require somebody over the age of 18 to be in the boat with anyone under 18 at all times. Bouyancy aids MUST be worn at all times.
The rowing boats are licensed for a maximum of 5 people, or a total weight of 310kg.
Dogs can go along too, provided the weight limit is not exceeded.
All children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times.
People must not swim from any of the boats.
PARTIES & CORPORATE
We can help you with group activities.
If you have a large party of family and friends and are looking for a place where everyone can have fun together, then get in touch!
We can also cater for hen do's, stag do's, corporate day's out, team building, special occasions, birthday parties, special events.
All large parties must get in touch beforehand so we can ensure availability.
Cancellation Policy
Our Cancellation Policy varies depending on which activity you book:
Wakesurf, Kneeboard and Luxury Boat Charter
All cancellations must be made at least 7 DAYS before the booking. Cancellations or no shows less than 7 days before the booking will be charged 100% of the total booking.
All Other Activities
All cancellations must be made a minimum of 48 HOURS prior to the booking.
Any no-shows or cancellations after this time will be charged 100% of the total booking.
In the rare event that Ullswater Wake & Surf considers the weather conditions to be unsuitable or dangerous we will do our best to reschedule your booking to another time that suits you, or fully refund your payment.
Refunds - for bookings and payments made via our online booking system, please be aware that refunds can take 3-5 days to reach your credit card/bank account depending on the financial institution.
